Extracurricular Coaching Delivery
Our Extracurricular Programme provides the perfect opportunity for children to learn and play a variety of sports before and/or after-school. To maximise the enjoyment and development of each individual, our coaching delivery is extremely important when creating the correct learning environment.
For each of our Extracurricular Clubs, our coaching team follows a detailed termly syllabus which includes weekly targets and challenges for children to complete. At the beginning of each session, we highlight the session outcomes and discuss how we can achieve group and individual targets collectively.
All games and activities are planned with individual and group targets in mind, ensuring sessions have the correct foundations for development by allowing children to play and learn within a Fun, Inclusive & Educational environment.
To reward learning and progression within our sessions, we regularly choose children to receive a STAR Learner card for brilliant effort and behaviour within our sessions. In addition, we also have our very own stickers for children to complete their STAR card. It’s vitally important for us to highlight positive development and we can’t wait to give out stickers to the fantastic children attending.
At the beginning of each term, all parents booked on to a specific club will receive the syllabus for the term ahead, this allows all parents to understand what your child will be learning on a weekly basis.
If your child is booked on to a PlaySport extra-curricular club and you haven’t received the termly coaching plan, please email us at info@play-sport.co.uk.
My son thoroughly enjoys attending the after-school club’s at St Michael’s church of England School. The classes are very reasonably priced, and the booking system is very easy to us. I would highly recommend the PlaySport after-school clubs.
